...or perhaps not alone at all.

Older work from the start of '06, with a few recent blemish corrections and some tweaks here and there (along with a butterfly to accompany my new personal interpretation of this piece ;D.) Basically this whole pic sprung forth after finding an amazingly inspiring cloud photo, which was used as reference for the sky.

There are a lot of things that have grown to bug me with this pic over time, especially with hte arch and the perspectives but overall I'm happy with how it turned out at least in terms of artistic progression at the time.

Done in Paint Shop Pro and Painter, about January '06.

Nice work overall, I agree with your concerns over the perspective. The glow? on the inside of the arch doesn't look right to me and I think some of the edges, especially the shadows could be a bit sharper, but hell, theres always something that can be tweaked

OMG , I really love this one, very beautiful!! the cloud are simply amazing and well done. the blue sky really adds a lot to the colorsheme. the girls is beautiful, well she has a beautiful back at least. it's fun to see how it turned out, I simply adore it. +10

What a wonderful atmosphere, and the technique and lights are great!

I think the butterfly gives a complete new mood to the story, which I find really breathtaking in perfect marriage with the great sky.

Very nice perspective but it's also it's weakness (due of the flatness of the colors of the height). It looks like the water almost touches her toes. Maybe put a tiny island over there to demonstrate height?

I find this painting very beautiful, the perspective is amazing but the only weird thing is the direction of sun rays and shadows at the top. +8/10
