Description
This is older work, just trying to catch up on GFX. Old description is as follows.Alternate title..."Don't come between a Succubus and her booze."
*cough*
Anyways, this is some commissioned work. Most people will probably know in passing about the stories of Lillith (I've seen it spelled with one or two l's but the commissoner's rendition is with two so I'll stick with that. xD) There's a whole lot of varying mythology surrounding that name, from epics about storm demons, to succubi, to being Adam's first wife.
This particular rendition branches off the succubus and Adam myths, adding an element of regret and remorse over earlier misdeeds. Basically, she isn't as evil as she used to be and harbors some regret over the past. I was supposed to depict her in a Victorian-style home, contemplating over a glass of wine. I probably goofed the perspectives up a little but hopefully it's not too noticeable. It was a lot of effort to paint that rug (it was painted out on top of some basic rug stock) Hopefully it doesn't look too "mechanical." Overall I'm decently happy with how it turned out, it's fairly close to my original mental image of it, and the person was happy with it so that's the cherry on the cake.
I based the wallpaper patterns off of stock from photodash off of DeviantArt, the floral pattern for the chair was from DH-Textures.
Done in Painter 9, spread across 3 months or so due to the commission being put on hold for some time, at the request of the commissioner. I'm not sure how many hours it took, but "a lot" would probably cover it. I'll upload some detail shots in a little bit, I think it needs them.
Thanks for looking.
